While we are still working on the first edition, you can download the beta of our flagship publication Getting Started with Ubuntu 10.04 by clicking the button.
How you can help
Our project is a volunteer open-source effort, with all contributions licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 license, which means that anyone can redistribute or modify our publications as long as the Ubuntu Manual team receives credit.
We receive no funding or support from Canonical, and are reliant on the passion of our contributors to make it easy for Ubuntu newcomers to adjust to their new system.
We are always looking for talented people to join our team and are lucky to be able to cater for a number of interests. With a quick development cycle, spontaneous decisions and a fun environment, writing documentation has never been so fun!
